The properties of normal water are soothing, cleaning, opens the channels, clears mind and senses, satiety of living one. the 2 out of 3 mala's (excreta) of body, mainly consists of water. they are sweda and mootra (urine). kidneys uses the most of body water as excreting the waste products in urine. excess water is also expelled out through urine.
Consumption of water within the limits inhibits the complaints of digestive, excretory system. proper consumption of water is also beneficial for hair, genital organs, skin disorders.
Excess consumption of water causes increased frequency of urination, often diminishes the appetite and challenges the digestion.
In cases of kidney function disorders, gout, the volume of water should be strictly as per the recommendation of doctor. chilled water is not recommended to consume just after the meals. it challenges the digestion. according to the Ayurveda 30 m.l water is required on 1 kg of body weight in 24 hours. average recommended value is approx 2.5 to 3 liter of water in a day. excessive thirst or very less carving for water is an indicator of problem in body.
The purity of water has an quite importance. these days, when pollution is contaminating every natural thing so water is not untouched from pollution. the water from the source should be tested for TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLVENTS and other contamination. polluted water is quite responsible for renal failure, kidney stone, hyper acidity, auto immune disorders even cancers.
